SLVUSD DISTRICT OFFICE HAS NO POWER AND IS CLOSED

The District Office staff are working at the various school sites today. We hope to be back up and running normally by Monday, October 14th. All sites are open if you need to talk to a staff member. ALL SCHOOLS ARE OPEN FOR FRIDAY

Schools are OPEN for tomorrow, Friday, October 11th. The power has been restored to all schools. Thank you for your patience as we waited for PG&E reports and then did physical check-ins at each school site.

TODAY and POTENTIAL SCHOOL CLOSURES

According to the last news that was reported by PG&E, the power will be shut off somewhere around 4:00pm. Some may be hearing that time has changed to sometime around noon. SLVUSD plans to be in session all day today (Wednesday, October 9th). (More information below)

ANNUAL ART CONTEST

The Valley Women's Club in cooperation with the Monterey Bay Air Resources District wants to create awareness and encourage all residents to be careful when using wood stoves and to burn cleanly (with only aged, dry wood) so that we can reduce smoke in the SLV and protect our air quality.
