INDEPENDENT STUDY PROGRAM INFORMATION

For the upcoming year, families have two options for instruction, full-time in person or independent study. (Please click on this article for more detailed information.)

SUMMERTIME WORK PERMITS

Step One: Apply for and be offered a job. You will need the work permit -after- this step and you must be at, or above the age of 14 to work as a minor. Step Two: Complete the work permit form and have both a parent and your employer sign it. Step Three: You will then need to take the completed work permit form to either the Counseling Office or District Office depending on the following dates. SLVUSD BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPOINTS NEW SUPERINTENDENT

Ms. Levine, President, read the following statement during the action item to appoint the new Superintendent.
"The District contracted with Leadership Associates to conduct a nationwide search. As a result, eighteen individuals submitted applications to be considered. Following the competitive search and selection process, I am delighted to announce that Mr. Christopher Schiermeyer has been selected as the new Superintendent of SLVUSD. Chris brings with him an in-depth knowledge of our district, an understanding of our finances, and a comprehension of the management of our campuses. SUMMER LEARNING PROGRAM MEAL SERVICE

Meals will be served to students attending the Summer Learning Program daily when school is in session. Breakfast may be picked up at the Tri-campus Cafeteria before class between 8:00am and 8:30am. Lunch may be picked up after class at the Tri-campus Cafeteria between 12:15pm and 12:45pm.

SLVUSD STUDENT MEAL PICK-UP INFORMATION

Starting Monday, June 7th, meals will be available for pick-up on Mondays at the Tri-campus Cafeteria from 11:30am - 1:30pm. (Due to holiday on July 5th, the last meal pick-up will be Tuesday, July 6th)
Meals are FREE for all children 18 years or under. Children do not need to be present and there is no ID or paperwork requirements. (If your student is attending the Summer Learning Program, Monday meal pick-ups are not allowed due to USDA Meal Program regulations.)
