Christopher Schiermeyer, Deputy Superintendent, Business Services, started in education in 1997 as a math and science teacher at the middle school level. After five years of teaching, he moved into administration, where he has been a K-12 administrator, with the majority of his experience being at the secondary level. Christopher held the position of Director of Secondary Education, overseeing six middle schools, four comprehensive high schools, three alternative schools, a charter school, and adult school, prior to moving back to San Lorenzo Valley as the Director of Personnel. He received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Master’s in Education as well as Administrative Credential from the University of California, Riverside. His elementary, middle, high, and charter school experience and educational background will provide a wealth of knowledge and dialogue as we move forward as a district committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
