Safe School Plans
Santa Cruz County schools must ensure the safety of 40,000 students in its seventy-two public K-12 schools. School safety plans, mandated by State law, are of paramount importance, must be in compliance with the law and updated annually. California Education Code Section 32280-89 requires all California K-12 public schools have school safety plans.
San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District’s Board of Trustees reviewed and approved all Comprehensive Safe School Plans that were submitted to them at a regular Board Meeting on March 13, 2023. The Safe School Plans are available below:
