It is with heavy hearts that we inform our SLV community of a tragic accident that occurred within our community on Saturday, January 28th. To read the Superintendent's Communication, please click on this article.

All SLVUSD schools will be OPEN for Thursday, January 12th. Please read the email that was sent regarding this information by clicking on this article.

Although this is NOT a requirement, if you are interested in an independent study opportunity related to this school closure, please contact your school site.

With the projected incoming storm and considering the current mudslides and potential closure of the Felton intersection once again tomorrow morning; the District feels it is in the best interest of our families and staff to take a Storm Day for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 10, 2023. In doing this, it will limit vehicle traffic across the Valley and allow for the necessary clean-up of roadways. This means that there will be no school tomorrow, Tuesday, January 10, 2023 for all of SLVUSD. The District will plan to return to school on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

The SLV Schools did really well in "Growing Up in Santa Cruz' Family Favorites". SLV Elementary, SLV Middle, and SLV High School all received 1st Place.
