San Lorenzo Valley Field CEQA Study

The San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District (the District), acting as the Lead Agency, has prepared this Initial Study for the San Lorenzo Valley High School Fields Project in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the CEQA Guidelines (California Code of Regulations §15000 et. seq.) and the regulations and policies of the County of Santa Cruz, California.

The project proposes the installation of field lights and an upgraded public address (PA) system, the construction of a restroom and a snack shack, the replacement of aging bleachers, and construction of two press boxes on the football, baseball, and softball fields of the San Lorenzo Valley High School campus (SLV campus). This Initial Study evaluates the environmental impacts that might reasonably be anticipated to result from implementation of the proposed project.
