SCHOOL CANCELLED FOR TUESDAY, JANUARY 26th and WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27th

If you have power at your home and have not been evacuated, you may access your student's online classroom where assignments and activities may be posted for extra credit or additional class points depending on the class and teacher. Teachers will be checking in with students as is possible.
 
The SLV food service pick-up program will continue for Tuesday, January 26th from 11:30am - 1:30pm. The bus food service for food pick-up will also continue for Tuesday, January 26th. The Tuesday pick-up will provide food for the entire week.
 
The YMCA childcare at SLVE and Camp Campbell will be closed on Tuesday, January 26th and Wednesday, January 27th. More information will be posted on the YMCA Camp Campbell website HERE.
 
Approximately, 2,800 structures could be impacted, involving approximately 5,000 people. To check if you are in an evacuation zone, please go to Community Zonehaven.com
 
The Santa Cruz Emergency Services and the Red Cross have opened temporary evacuation sites at:
 
San Lorenzo Valley High School
7105 Highway 9, Felton, CA
 
Scotts Valley Community Center
360 Kings Village Road, Scotts Valley, CA
 
Pacific Elementary School
50 Ocean Street, Davenport, CA
 
The evacuation sites will provide space for extended car parking and the Red Cross will be available for assistance. There will also be bathrooms, charging stations, refreshments, and pet food at each location. Please note these are not overnight shelter locations. 
 
A call center for assistance regarding the debris flow or for evacuation information at 831-454-2181. Information will also be broadcasted on radio station 1080 AM KSCO.
 
This information is provided to help prepare you for the remainder of the week. Living in SLV is not for the faint of heart. We certainly have been through numerous tests of our patience, tenacity, and endurance this school year. Keep your family safe and we will be back in class online as soon as possible.
 
We WILL get through this, but it will require strength of character and perseverance on everyone's part.
