Wednesday, MARCH 22, 2023 - PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE

All SLVUSD schools will be closed for Wednesday, March 22nd. There was extensive damage caused as a result of yesterday’s strong winds and rain. A large number of trees and power lines are down and many roads are impassable. BCE has no power, SLVE and SLVMS have partial power and transportation is not able to run any routes due to closures. SLVUSD feels that it will be safer for our community to stay off of the roads to allow for PG&E and other emergency clean up organizations to restore our power and clear our roads for our safety. Thank you for your understanding and we hope that everyone stays safe.
