Title l Funding

 

SLVUSD receives Title l funding to support students. Title l is the largest federal assistance program for our nation's schools. The program serves millions of children in elementary and secondary schools each year. Title 1 supports children who have been identified most in need of educational help to meet the state standards. Currently students at Boulder Creek Elementary and San Lorenzo Valley Middle Schools are identified for Title l support. Funding is used to help students become proficient in reading and math by scheduling support instruction beyond the regular classroom, and to support students with intervention and social emotional needs.  Parent involvement is also supported and encouraged across the district.
