The District Office for the San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District is located at 325 Marion Avenue in Ben Lomond. The regular office hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
The District Office will be CLOSED on all Fridays beginning Friday, June 16th and ending on Friday, August 11th for the Summer Adjusted Schedule.
Summertime hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Please be aware that the 2017-18 PowerSchool Registration/Information Update needs to be completed between August 5th and August 23rd. Prior completion may result in families having to re-enter their information.
The San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District uses PowerSchool Registration, an online platform for completing student registration. We have outlined below the requirements for New and Returning students, as well as when to access the web-link to complete the online registration process.
NEW STUDENTS: If you are registering for a new student in our district, you must first meet with the school site Registrar. Your school site Registrar will enter your new student into PowerSchool and will provide you, the parent, with instructions regarding how to set up your PowerSchool Parent account.
KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS: To attend Kindergarten, students must be five years old on or before September 1.
If applicable, students are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten if they have their 5th birthday on or between September 2 and December 2.
Please download and complete the pre-enrollment form and bring it to your school site Registrar (school offices are closed over the summer and will re-open in August). You will also need to provide the student’s birth certificate, immunization record, health exam (for Kindergarten/First grade only), oral health assessment (Kindergarten/First grade only), and proof of residency to enroll.
Acceptable Proof of Residency is one of the following:
- A copy of a current (or previous month) utility bill (electric, gas or water) showing current usage.
- A signed current lease (for 30 days until a utility bill is available).
- If you have recently purchased your home, a copy of the closing papers will suffice until a utility bill is available to reproduce (within 30 days).
- If you are living with a relative or a friend, please see your school site registrar.
*PLEASE NOTE: Presenting a false record or falsifying records is an offense under Section 37.10, Penal Code, and enrollment of the child under false documents subjects the person to liability for tuition or other costs. TEC Sec. 25.002(3)(d).
We need your most current information in the event of an emergency! You will be required to complete your annual registration (information update and Parent Permissions) before you can collect your 2017-2018 student schedule.
PowerSchool Registration Window & Parent Portal:
The PowerSchool Parent Portal will re-open on Saturday, August 5. You may access PowerSchool Registration through the Parent Portal URL: https://grades.slvusd.org/public
You will then complete your student’s on-line registration by clicking on the “PowerSchool Registration” link. Students are not considered enrolled until the on-line registration has been completed. ALL returning students MUST complete the annual update process each year.
PLEASE NOTE: The Parent Portal will be closed between July 1 and August 4. The enrollment process will NOT be complete until your online registration and applicable documentation is received by your student’s campus. Students will not receive a class list or course enrollment information until their PowerSchool registration and all applicable documents have been submitted and/or provided. The Parent Portal will reopen on August 5, 2017.
SLV Middle School, SLV High School, and SLV Charter School offices will be open on July 31, 2017
Boulder Creek Elementary and San Lorenzo Valley Elementary School offices will be open on August 9, 2017

Once you have submitted your request, please allow one week for notification. The Superintendent’s Office will contact you to let you know if the flyer has been approved and posted.
The Instructional Services Department processes all Interdistrict Transfer Requests. This Department is closed for the month of July. For any questions related to Interdistrict Transfers please contact the Instructional Services Department at 336-8852.
