SANTA CRUZ COUNTY COLLEGE COMMITMENT
In an effort to create a culture of college-bound students and prepare our students for success in college, San Lorenzo Valley USD is partners with Cabrillo College, CSUMB, UCSC, San Jose State, and all other Santa Cruz County K-12 Public Schools to form the Santa Cruz County College Commitment, otherwise known as S4C.

February 3, 2016 Board Meeting – Superintendent Report
The following video was included in a Board report that Dr. Bruton presented to the SLV Board of Trustees regarding S4C and the Gates Foundation Planning Grant. This video was produced by Harbor High School in regards to mathematics, which is the current focus of S4C to prepare all students for college and career. In this video, students are asked the following questions about math:
1 – What works in the math program at your school? 2 – What is not working? 3 – What road blocks have been encountered? 4 – What do you want to tell teachers?
